Is the Low-Income Discounted Internet Service a Good Idea for America?
Cable and Internet provider Comcast is launching a new program to offer discounted Internet service and computers to low-income families.
The program, called Internet Essentials, will "provide low-cost access to the Internet and affordable computers as well as digital literacy training to families with children who are eligible to receive free lunches under the National School Lunch Program," according to the company's blog. In times when it is hard to muster up the cash for gallon of gas, a little break on any of the bills can be a blessing! I hate to wonder how much of this is being subsidized by tax payer dollars though? At a time when most middle-class families can't afford their own "luxuries" it is stunning that they are expected to pay for someone elses.
In times of hardship, cable is usually the first to go, followed closely by the internet. When a family of four with two working parents have to sacrifice eating out, movie nights, premium meat cuts, and non-generic medication to assure their kids will still have internet for school, it is sad to see families who choose not to sacrifice have it handed to them even if it is a lower quality product. Even though there are 14,000 wrongly declared deaths, that is considered a small amount compared to the 2.8 million death reports the Social Security Administration office takes in each year. If you are declared dead, the first thing you should do is go down to the Social Security Office and show photo identification. The Social Security Office said that photo identification is the best form of proof.
It isn't always that easy though. Make sure alert your credit cards and the three major credit bureaus of the oversight. When someone becomes deceased the SSA lists them in an online searchable database called the SOCIAL SECURITY DEATH INDEX and identity thieves often troll this site for leads on peoples info they can use to open credit or even enter the country illegally!

President Barack Obama’s alleged “illegal” immigrant uncle was
arrested in Massachusetts last week for allegedly driving under the
influence after nearly ramming a police car, the Washington Times reported Sunday.
According to some digging by the Times’s Kerry Picket, Onyango Obama,
67, is the “Uncle Omar” mentioned in the president’s book, “Dreams From
My Father.” He is apparently an illegal immigrant from Kenya and the
brother of Obama’s aunt Zeituni Oyango, who has been granted asylum to stay in the U.S.
The Metrowest Daily News reported
Obama failed a field sobriety test after almost running his SUV into a
police car in Framingham, Mass, near Boston. According to a police
report, he rolled through a stop sign and then made a quick left turn,
requiring the squad car and another vehicle to slam on their breaks to
avoid hitting him.
According to the Washington Times, Framingham Public Information
Officer Lieutenant Delaney said when Onyango Obama was asked at the
station if he wanted to make a telephone call to arrange for bail, he
replied: “I think I will call the White House.”

Death Threats Over Jeff's Eviction
"Big Brother" contestant Shelly Moore pissed off America when she voted to evict fan favorite Jeff Schroeder last week -- and now TMZ has learned her family has been receiving death threats from deranged fans because of the move.
Sources close to Shelly tell us ... the reality star's family has received multiple phone calls from people threatening violence ... even making threats against Shelly's 8-year-old daughter.
We're told Shelly's employer has also been receiving harassing phone calls -- demanding the company fire Shelly immediately because of the way she voted on the show.
Sources tell us Shelly's family is preparing to get the FBI involved -- because they're taking the threats VERY seriously.
UPDATE: "Big Brother" Executive Producer Allison Grodner released a statement on Twitter ... saying, "No matter how much you dislike an HG, this is wrong! True BB fans do not try to ruin lives. Please stop!"
Meanwhile, a Facebook page was made under the name "America Hates Shelly Moore" to campaign the hates for Shelly.
