As many of my regular readers already know I live every day with the crippling effects of Multiple Sclerosis (MS). What I eat has a direct effect on how I feel and how well my body functions. It is important that I watch all aspects of my diet and that includes not just GLUTEN but nutrients and vitamins as well. I love cereal but I had to give it up because store brand cereals are full of preservatives and added zinc that my body cannot process. After my last severe MS exacerbation I didn't think I would ever be able to eat one of my favorite breakfast treats again.
Custom Choice Cereal announced it was looking for Bloggers to try their cereal and ultimately do a review on their products. I applied and was excited but was not sure if I would be able to use their product let alone if they would choose me. While I waited for a response I started reading the Custom Choice Cereal Blog and closely monitoring them on Facebook. I was really excited! I even went on the site and chose a few ingredients I liked and talked about things I'd like to see more of on the Custom Choice Cereal Facebook page. Then the news came in, I was not one of the lucky few chosen to do a review. My heart sank.
I was not going to let that stop me. I believed in Custom Choice Cereal and I believed in the Custom Choice Cereal message. All that was left was to taste it! Not only was I able to design a cereal to fit my taste palette and nutrition needs, I was able to make sure it was compatible with my health requirements with the online view of the nutrition label. I showed this to my Doctor and my Nutritionist and they were able to help me make even better choices to meet my weight loss and long term health care goals. I just know if Doctors and Nutritionists are impressed with Custom Choice Cereal it has to be a great product for those of us struggling with health issues.
