Iran Nuke Effort
Defending his efforts to halt the Iranian nuclear threat, President Barack Obama said Sunday that the economic sanctions against the country have had "enormous bite," and that he is united with Russian and Chinese leaders in ensuring Iran does not develop an atomic weapon and unleash an arms race across the Middle East.
The president, at a news conference that closed an Asia-Pacific economic summit, did not specifically say he would consider military action if Tehran were to persist in arming itself with a nuclear weapon. But he added: "We are not taking any options off the table. Iran with nuclear weapons would pose a threat not only to the region but also to the United States."
Obama's stand came laced with presidential politics. Republican presidential contenders, including former Massachusetts governor Mitt Romney, have assailed Obama for not doing more to keep Iran from getting nuclear weaponry. Said Obama: "Is this an easy issue? No. Anyone who claims it is is either politicking or doesn't know what they're talking about." (Continue reading this story).
So it looks to me that we are going to war with Iran. No big surprise, it's been building up for quite some time now. We will look back at the last few years with Obama in office, that is if we still exist in the future, and see that WWIII started long before a declaration of war with Iran. It is too bad Obama has lied to so many of our allies, and killed many of the others, because now we may really need them.
I don't want to sound like the blame for all America's ill's fall on the shoulder's of our illegally elected President because they don't. We have had a lot of problems long before he came to power. Heck, it dates back before he was even born! Too bad the "Blame Game" will do us no good at this point in the game.
Obama needs to set things right with Israel. If he doesn't we are looking at a very short lived time as a country. That may be the big picture if you think about it. Do some research and you will find a "Pentagon" of sorts that was built in Australia. Now Obama wants to put a permanent base in Australia. Many people think it is his intention to use the civil unrest of Occupy Wall Street to postpone the 2012 Presidential Elections. This would potentially grant Obama the right to declare himself "King of the World". Sounds like a wacky conspiracy theory, but it's getting a little more real every day.
