Colorado prosecutors don't want a judge
to lift a restraining order against actor Charlie Sheen, who is accused
of threatening his wife with a knife.
Attorneys for both Sheen and his wife, Brooke, say they want the
order dismissed so the couple can try to reconcile. The order bars him
from contacting her.
Prosecutors filed a motion Wednesday opposing dismissal. Assistant District Attorney Arnold Mordkin would not say why Thursday.
Sheen was arrested in Aspen on Christmas Day on charges including
felony menacing and domestic violence. Brooke Sheen told police he put
a knife to her throat and threatened to kill her. He denies threatening
her.
